Can we pray Namaaz/Salah in front of a mirror?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Question - Is it permissible to perform salah in front of the mirror?

Answer - If a person prays with a mirror in front of him, his prayer is valid even if he is facing it and can see himself in it. But he has to lower his gaze and not look at it. He should keep away from it and from everything that may distract him during his prayer. 

It is lawful, Salah will be valid. But it is better to cover it with a curtain so that you can avoid seeing the reflection of yourself or others in the mirror.
